Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, abbreviated as TF-CBT, is an evidence- based approach to therapy. By introducing ways to manage upsetting thoughts and feelings, TF-CBT provides tools to reduce trauma-related distress in children and adolescents. Additionally, family involvement is expected and welcomed, as it is shown to improve outcomes in therapy for children and teenagers.
